Always Hawthorn Bequest Club Annual Luncheon

Once again, the Always Hawthorn Bequest Club joined together for their annual Luncheon at the Box Hill Pavilion. This was a great opportunity to come together with like-minded Hawks fans who are all passionate long serving supporters. We were joined by special guests, HFC Director and Foundation Chairman Tim Shearer and three-time premiership player Liam Shiels who were more than happy to give our members insight on where we are heading on and off the field.

We started the event with a Q&A with Liam Shiels to discuss new players, performing in the snow and how the team will approach the last two games of the season. He also inducted our new members into the Always Hawthorn Bequest Club with a thankyou gift and commemorative certificate. We are proud to welcome six new members into the Always Hawthorn Bequest Club. New members, Caroline Maddison and Richard O’Hara were of attendance at our luncheon. New members Tim Whitmore, Graeme Perrett and Peter Slater were unable to make it on the day; this brings our group to 66 loyal supporters.

It is great to see fanswho have witnessed Hawthorns greatest successes come together to celebrate how far we have come and what is planned for the future. Foundation Chairman Tim Shearer presented plans for the new Kennedy Community Centre with time for our Bequest members to ask questions about the plans and how it will be turned into a reality.
