AFLW & COMMUNITY PAVILION SEAT RECOGNITION
Be Among the first to add your Name to our new AFLW Oval & Community pavilion
Hawthorn Football Club and the Kennedy Community Centre is founded on the ethos of ‘one for all and all for one’ – the values of equality and inclusion, teamwork and humility that John Kennedy instilled in our players and remains embedded in our culture.
The AFLW & Community Pavilion & Oval have been designed to embrace inclusion and equality and has scope to host AFLW games, provide elite training facilities for our AFL and AFLW teams as well as local community clubs and organisations.
For a tax-deductible donation of $600 your name will be recognised for three years on one of the seats overlooking the Marvel sized oval. Be one of the first to add your name to the multi-purpose and inclusive AFLW & Community Pavilion.

AFLW & Community Pavilion Seat Recognition FAQs
Where will my plaque be located? Can I choose the location?
Plaques will be placed on the grandstand seating within the AFLW & Community Pavilion. Your plaque location will be confirmed once the AFLW & Community Pavilion build is complete and seats are installed. Whilst we can not offer the opportunity to select which seat your plaque will be installed on, we are happy to facilitate requests for plaques to be placed next to each other or grouped together. Please email foundation@hawthornfc.com.au with your request, and we will assist you.
How long is the recognition program?
Your plaque will remain on a seat for three years from the opening of the Kennedy Community Centre, or for three years if allocated after the opening. You will be offered the first right of renewal for plaque recognition.
Can I put a business name on the plaque?
If a donation is received from a business the business name can be recognised on the plaque. The maximum character limit is 100 characters.
What will my donation go towards?
Your donation will help ensure the Kennedy Community Centre transforms the club for many years to come. This state-of-the-art facility will put our teams in the best position for success, safeguard our future and solidify our status as the destination club across the AFL and AFLW, whilst creating a long-term home for the entire Hawthorn family.
Will my plaque act as a reserved seat?
At this point, Pavilion seating is unable to be reserved for any games or training that may take place on the oval. Should the club introduce a reserved seat membership option, donors to the recognition program will be considered with first opportunity to purchase a membership to reserve the seat with their plaque on it.
Can I put someone else’s name on the plaque?
Yes! You can gift the recognition of your donation to anyone you like.
Can I put more than one name on a plaque?
So long as the maximum allowance of characters is not exceeded, you can include as many names on the plaque as you like. The maximum character limit is 100 characters. Hawthorn Football Club Foundation has the final approval of all names to appear on plaques and reserves the right to reject a name / business name if it is not aligned with the values of Hawthorn Football Club.
Is my donation tax deductible?
All donations to the AFLW & Community Pavilion Seat Recognition campaign are fully tax-deductible.
